AT THE RESTAURANT WITH 1 ESO D

1 ESO D students made an outstanding contribution to the oral interaction lesson with a role play set in a restaurant. Here we have some photos and videos of our young learners' wonderful performances!

2nd ESO STUDENTS GO GREEN!

Our 2n ESO B/C students decided to take action against climate change and pollution. They made these awesome leaflets to make people aware of the dangers of pollution, greenhouse gasses and fossil fuels.

3rd ESO ORAL - SHOW COOKING IN ENGLISH

3rd ESO A/B Oral English students recorded a show cooking tv programme where they showed how to cook:

- waffles

- ice lemon

- oreo milkshake 

- tuna sandwiches

Everything was delicious! Yummy.

CHRISTMAS CARDS 

FOR 

THE ELDERLY

1st and 2nd ESO students wrote lovely Christmas cards in Spanish and English for those who live in the home for the elderly in our town. On the last day of school before the Christmas holidays, we all went

to visit them and wish them a merry Christmas.

It was an unforgettable experience that we will surely repeat next year! MERRY CHRISTMAS!                                                         

POSTCARD EXCHANGE 

OCTOBER 2017

The students of 1 ESO are doing a very interesting activity: a POSTCARD EXCHANGE with a school from Turkey.
We have sent our postcards with information about our town, our country, our typical food and traditions.
Now that our postcards have reached their destination, we are looking forward to receiving those from the Turkish students!

NOVEMBER 2017

     The postcards sent by our Turkish friends are already here! The postcards are really lovely! The Turkish students also sent some little gifts and our pupils were delighted! Thanks! It has been a great, enriching experience for all of us!

CULTURE BOX

Culture in a box is an interesting activity for students of all ages.
- What are we going to do?
- Easy!
- We are going to send a box to a high school in Novosibirsk, Russia. The box will contain essays, souvenirs, photos, postcards, food...everything that can give interesting information about our country, our identity, our customs, our gastronomy... We'll send the box to Russia and...They'll send us a similar box with information about themselves.
- Interesting, isn't it?

These are some examples of the amazing contributions we included in our CULTURE BOX. We hope the students from Siberia learn more about our country thanks to our effort!

ENGLISH BREAKFAST: WAFFLE DAY

The 10th of March we celebrated our Cultural Day at IES Vila-roja. The English Department organized two different workshops: Karaoke and English Breakfast.

Our students sang, danced...and cooked a delicious waffle breakfast for the whole school!
